Under the general direction of the Executive Director, Center on Child Wellbeing and Trauma (CCWT), the Professional Learning Communities & Training Manager develops and implements a PLC strategy, curriculum, and training protocol for all relevant child-serving sections.
This position will oversee all training and technical assistance aspects of the Center including how to structure and recruit organizations to learning communities, development of regular communication mechanisms with relevant sectors, ongoing development and implementation of training and technical assistance activities, and reporting and monitoring to goals.
Provides leadership, consultation, coaching, and implementation support based on organizational gaps and needs as identified by feedback from stakeholders and community organizations.
Provides best in practice education, training, and support to engage participants in training and technical assistance.
The Professional Learning Communities Manager continuously seeks and shares new information in the field of trauma and healing to promote best practice information sharing across the state.
Responsibilities:
Directs and manages Center-related PLC and training activities and collaborates stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of best practices.
Collaborates with the Resource development and implementation team to assure alignment and information sharing both within the Center and to all relevant parties externally.
Develops and implements a training and technical assistance process for organizations in partnership with the Executive Director and the Office of the Child Advocate.
Develops a curriculum(s) for training and technical assistance to assure development of communities of practice are developed and sustained across sectors.
such as professionals in child welfare, juvenile justice, education, and behavioral health clinicians.
Identifies, outreaches and recruits organizations to enter the PLC communities of practice.
Coordinates all PLC activities, assures progress to goals and identifies new opportunities for supporting key sectors through newsletters, regular webinars and discussion groups, and other PLC/community of practice related activities.
Engages community organizations in communities of practice and monitors progress to assure learning and best practice information diffusion.
Supports resource development activities and assures alignment with resources and PLC.
Applies best in practice instructional design skills and tools to assure:
Technical assistance in key sectors Evaluation of current practices, procedures, and resources to improve PLC interactions Tracks participating PLC organizations progress through various feedback mechanisms, provides oversight of coaching and technical assistance.
Measures Center progress toward achievement of PLC goals and metrics.
Works with Commonwealth Medicine (CWM) IT to assure development and implementation of a data system to track PLC.
Monitors data system and reports regularly on progress toward goal achievement.
Engages family and child-facing organization staff in interactive dialogues on systemic issues in addressing Child Wellbeing and Trauma in order to assess adherence to standards and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepares management reports that clearly link individual gaps in best practice with potential systems vulnerabilities and related organizational risks.
Effectively and constructively communicates PLC opportunities to family and child-facing organizations to continuously recruit and support community of practice participants.
Cultivates and maintains strong collaborative relationships with enterprise leadership, and other CWM business units to position CWM for greater opportunities to develop and provide services to vulnerable individuals.
Establishes and maintains productive collegial relationships with key client agencies and designated client contacts.
Works collaboratively with customers to identify and meet their needs, ensures effective work processes and jointly develops strategies for enhancements leading to service improvement and revenue growth.
Assists with ongoing evaluation, planning and implementation of Center assessment methodologies and practices Coordinates and aligns training and education efforts.
Works independently to successfully achieve established objectives and deliverables within respective timelines.
Initiates and develops relationships with key potential business partners for core business growth.
Identifies, develops and fosters new client relationships to support the CCWT, and cultivates technical assistance opportunities by assessing client needs and aligning with UMMS/CWM expertise and solutions.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelors Level Degree or equivalent in policy, human services, or social work.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE 10
years of experience in preferably in human services or child and family work.
Program, operational and policy experience at the community based organization level Strong commitment to public service with an entrepreneurial attitude, balanced with the ability to respect, galvanize, organize and coordinate constituent groups.
Proven administrative and management ability in a complex environment, preferably human services or other related service industry.
Demonstrated performance in strategic and financial planning and analysis.
Demonstrated ability to perform within budgetary constraints delivering a consistently break-even or profitable bottom line.
Substantial business development experience, program development and strategic planning experience.
Contract writing, contract management, training and public speaking experience necessary.
Demonstrated ability working with healthcare professionals, good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Extensive statewide travel including overnights possible.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
